Cryostat extends from -1185mm to 1885mm

Distance between cryostat and downward door: 580mm

Axial force: ~58t in upward direction

Cable: 3.4 and 4x24.6 mm (231, 104, 231 turns, 2 layers)

All the magnetic requirements fulfilled

Decrease of the Cryostat Length

The request is: cryostat ends at 1900mm w.r.t. the IP in downward direction.

We have studied the problem to mantain everything else unchanged and achieve this, taking into account 170mm clearance for the cryostat.

Case 1: no Modification to the Downward Door

Cryostat extends from -1190mm to 1900mm

Distance between cryostat and downward door: 575mm

Axial force: ~60t

Cable: 3.4 and 4x24.6 mm

All the magnetic requirements fulfilled

Case 2: the Downward Door Moves Upward 15mm (ends at 2900mm downward w.r.t. the IP)

Cryostat extends from -1190mm to 1885mm

Distance between cryostat and downward door: 575mm

Axial force: ~60t

Cable: 3.4 and 4x24.6 mm

All the magnetic requirements fulfilled
