Staves with the Al-tube

Measurements done in the mechanical workshop of Genoa with the DEA metrology station.

May-June  2001

 The staves are kept in horizontal position by 5 peek supports, screwed  the  endpoints, glued the others.

For each stave are shown:
1)  the module planarity ( minimum distance between two parallel planes containing all measurements ) measured at T=210C, 36 measurements per module;
2)  the profile as a difference between the mean value of 36 measuremets on a module and the  model value, at T=210C;
3)  4) and 5) differences between measurements at two different temperature values ( usually ~+20 and ~-5 0C measured by two Pt100 glued on the upper platform of the colunms). The effective conditions are written in the histogram itself;
6) the module torsion angle.
