Assembling in ATLAS Pixel Production Database

        To make an assembly one should fill 3 fields: Assembly serial number, Item
        (component) serial number and the Position number (if there are several Items of
        the same Component type).

        To be able to do that the corresponding Item type structure should exist
        (verify in: Assemblies -> Tree Report).

        To enter an Assembly, the serial number of this Assembly must exist. So it requires first to enter
        in PDB the new Item which is going to be an Assembly.

        Don't forget to mark your assembly with the serial number the PDB gave you!

        To be able to assemble in the PDB objects, you should know the serial numbers of all
        sub-elements. PDB checks if you are the owner of each sub-item before accepting the entry.

        Disassembly is also authorized by deleting the entry.

        Java applications for different assembling procedures

     NEW !!!   SetAssembled
        - is an application to set up the ASSEMBLED flag of an Item to YES.

        To be used when some Item cannot be assembled anymore, it was used for some
        other purpose, but not in the usual Pixel Assembly.

        The file contains ASSEMBLY.jar archive file - to be put to the usual archive place:
        C\PixelPDB\ASSEMBLY.jar and to be added to the CLASSPATH variable.

        SetAssembly.BAT - is the command file to run the application.
        The application requires the serial number of Item (14 digits), username and passwd.

       LoadFlex

       16.08.2002. Attention! The order of input parameters is changed. Now it is:

       Username Passwd Filename SerialNumber

       Module Prototype substructures

        The 2 levels substructure of ModuleFEIPrototype (is available also with Tree Structure report).
        Please pay attention to the position numbers of FE chips in the BareFEIModuleProt assembly:

     Trigger actions when mounting or dismounting an assembly.

        Trigger acctions when mounting:

 1.Update in ITEM table assembled attribute to "YES" if this element is unique (defined in
    ITEM_DESCR table).
        Trigger acctions when dismounting:
 1.Update in ITEM table the location name of the corresponding component to the corresponding
    location name of the assembly item;
 2.Update in ITEM table the owner of the corresponding component to the corresponding owner of
    the assembly item;
 3.Update in ITEM table assembled attribute to "NO"
