00 – Flex Hybrid + Modules subsystem codeOn the Prototype step the Module objects have name ModuleFEIPrototype.
vv – Flex version number
xxxx – the identifier part to be found on the Flex Hybrid
The
identification procedure for these objects is defined in
Pixel
Flex Hybrid and Module Bar Code Tracking (ATL-IP-AP-0008) document.
The hand written number on v3 and v4.x flex prototypes (e.g., v3-40) is
the Manufacturer serial number of the Flex.
The ModuleFEIPrototype structure is:
The Bare Module part identifier has the format:
2021 02 v bbb ww tt
02 – Bare Modules subsystem code,The last 8 digits repeat the last 8 digits of the SensorTile serial number:
v – Sensor Tile vendor code:
1: CiS sensors,
2:Tesla sensors
bbb – batch number,
ww – wafer number,
tt – wafer substructure number (tile = 01, 02, 03 , see Sensors help page).
On the Prototype step the Bare Module objects have name BareFEIModuleProt.
More info about Bare Module
is in the document:
The
ATLAS Pixel Bare Module (ATL-IP-AN-0002)
Java applications
for
BareFEIModuleProt
,
ModuleFEIPrototype
,
and FlexMCCPrototype
upload.
Please get applications-MODULE-PDB.zip and unzip it. The file contains:an input file example DATABARE.txt for Bare module upload,
ModuleData.txt - the example of file containing flex and bare modules available,
this file must be put to C:\PixelPDB directory.java application archive file MODULE.jar, which you should put to C:\PixelPDB
and add it to CLASSPATH variable:
set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;C:\PixelPDB\MODULE.jar
or set up in:
Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variablescommand file UploadBareModule.BAT to register and assembly BareFEIModuleProt.
command file UploadModule.BAT to register and assembly ModuleFEIPrototype.
command file LoadFlexMCC.BAT to register and assembly FlexMCCPrototype.
You also can run the applications from command prompt:
C:\atlas\measurement > java UploadBareModuleor, for Bare Modules only:
C:\atlas\measurement > java UploadModule
C:\atlas\measurement > java LoadFlexMCCC:\atlas\measurement > java UploadBareModule DATABARE.txt username passwd
The application for Module and Flex+MCC upload must be run only in interactive way!
Important!
Please pay attention that to be able to run all these applications:1. You must be the owner of all the Items-components.
2. The Item-assembly must NOT have been registered before.
How to use the UploadModule application.
Flex & Bare Modules available shows the pairs of flex + bare module which can be
assembled together.! The application takes these numbers from the file C:\PixelPDB\ModuleData.txt.Flex s/n (6 last digits) - here should be inserted the number from the list before.
Bare Module s/n - clicking on the field for this number you get list of possible values to put:Initials - initials of person (registered in the database!) performing operation.
Assembly Date - the date of Module assembly (may not be equal to the date of registration). When you have filled in all the fields, click OK.
The application checks if FlexMCCPrototype and BareFEIModuleProt
with serial numbers just inserted exist in the database and if you are the owner of these Items. The application creates the ModuleFEIPrototype with serial number 20210020 XXXXXX,
where last 6 digits are the same as the last 6 digits of the Flex serial number.
The application stops if the module with this serial number was already created before. The application creates an assembly containing FlexMCCPrototype and BareFEIModuleProt
with the serial numbers just inserted.
