  • GENOVA and its beauties

The Old City of Genoa consists of a Medieval picturesque city centre gathered around the port and of modern quarters which expanded along the coast and on the hills behind.
An attractive scenic view of the ancient and modern city is offered to the tourist from Castelletto, on the top of the hill, where, on the 10th century, a wall and fortification were built for the defence of the city.
An impressing view of the port can be enjoyed as well.
Charming and fascinating is the elegant and artistic street of via Garibaldi, lined with a series of palaces of the Genoese Renaissance, with scenic and typical interior gardens and courtyards.
