SELECTION CRITERIA
The following requirements are applied to the events:
- Electron Identification:
at least one "loose" and one "tight" electron, opposite
charge.
- At least 2 jets; multiplicity of the second jet >1
At this stage a 5C fit is performed; the mass of the
two-jet system must match the Z0 mass (the experimental Z0 mass distribution
is taken into account).
The following cuts are then applied:
- Probability of the 5C fit > 1E-22
- Minimum electron isolation angle (w.r.t. jets) >
4
- Maximum electron isolation angle (w.r.t. jets)>
15
- Fast electron energy > 40 GeV
- Fitted recoil mass > 50 GeV
- B-tagging ( min(probs,probp) < 0.3 )
