Galleria di Palazzo Rosso
Red Palace Gallery

ADDRESS: Via Garibaldi 18

Once a private painting collection, it is now probably the best in the city. The works are exposed exploiting the atmosphere (frescoes, decoration) of a patrician palace.

Just for example, we could cite
- the frescoes of Gregorio De Ferrari and Domenico Piola;
- the portraits of Anton van Dyck, Pisanello and Albrecht Dürer;
- paintings of Peter Paul Rubens, Guido Reni, Paolo Veronese, Guercino, Luca Cambiaso.

Also important collections of drawings and ceramics are exposed.

In the picture, the famous The Woman-cook , by Bernardo Strozzi.
