IEEE NSS 2004
Software and Computing for Detectors, Computing GRID

The IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium programme will include a track dedicated to Software and Computing, following the very successful
introduction of this topic into the scientific programme of the conference
in 2003 at Portland for the first time.

The programme is articulated into topics such as:

  • Simulation of detectors and of particle interactions with matter
  • Data analysis tools, algorithms and methods
  • Systems for distributed computing, GRID
  • Computing architecture and infrastructure in experiments
  • Applications in High Energy and Nuclear Physics, Astrophysics and Space Science, Medical Physics and other domains

Contacts

Please feel free to contact the Conveners, Jürgen Knobloch (CERN) and Maria Grazia Pia (INFN Genova) for further information.

Geant4 Course

The conference programme will include a Geant4 Short Course, organized by the Geant4 Collaboration.
