SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Google is donating near $7 million to permit San Francisco to go along providing unloosen charabanc and early Department of Transportation services to low-income city kids.
City officials proclaimed the donation on Thursday and said it wish covert an extra deuce days of the exempt theodolite broadcast. The programme is presently funded by a regional conveyance office done June 2014.
The contribution comes as Google and other engineering science companies front critique o'er buck private buses they function to foot up employees in San Francisco. Engineering workers are also accused of impulsive up rents and gentrifying the city.
San Francisco City manager Ed Lee side said the donation shows Google is a admittedly cooperator in addressing San Francisco's affordability crisis for let down and middle-income families.
