Genova is connected to several Italian cities, as Rome, and various European cities, as London, Madrid, Munchen and Paris. Check the airport web site for more details on the flight schedule. The airport is located in the west part of the town and is connected to the downtown area by bus or taxi. The airport bus will bring you to the Principe Railway Station in about 30 minutes. The ticket costs 4 Euros and is valid for one day on the Metro and buses. From the station you can take the Metro, or another bus line (37) or walk (15-20 min.) to the downtown area where most hotels are located. A taxi ride from the airport to the downtown area costs about 20-25 Euros and takes approximately 20 min.
