I got my Degree in Physics at the Università degli Studi di Genova
with a work on the feasibility of a measurement of target spin asimmetry in single pion electroproduction on a polarised proton
target. This measure was done with the CLAS detector at
JLAB. More info here.
I got my Ph.D. in Physics at the Università degli Studi
di Genova with a thesis on the optimisation of the detection of low energy muons by a deep underwater neutrino telescope. This
work featured both hardware and software aspects, and was done in the framework of the
NEMO experiment and in collaboration with the
ANTARES experiment. More info here.
My current activity is devoted to the development and the design of the Superconducting Solenoid Magnet and the Target
System for the PANDA experiment. This experiment will be built
at Darmstadt, Germany, in the new FAIR laboratory, which will
replace and incorporate the existing GSI laboratory. More info
here. |
